But if you have to elevate the trash, then go for it and review the 1997 album by Paolo Martella!!! If you do, I will declare eternal love to you.

So, Federico: I've been following Doná since her debut, Tregua. Was it 1999? I have all her CDs (except for the one in English and the acoustic one) but I've never really loved her. I think it's the fault of the specialized press (damn them!) that insists on comparing her to PJ Harvey! In reality, Doná has a completely different attitude and voice from Piggy, and it frustrates me when music journalists feel the need to compare anyone with a skirt to the English artist or Björk. Perhaps I've been listening to her wrong for years. As with every release, I will soon make this album my own and re-listen to her other albums, hoping this time she'll reach my heart, already acknowledging her value. You did well, great concise review.

In the DeCasistica, there are two others, anyway: this is to say that, by now, in the DeCasi there's the garbage collector. Once, however, there were some nice reviews. Farewell, happy fields...

a not very likable character, true, but this album wasn't bad at all. They say the second one is nice too, but I only know this one (a little). Well done madcat, don't be ashamed of your tastes.

Very good, Memento. I listened to 16 minutes on YouTube, and I find the comparison to Ulver to be spot on. I didn't continue listening because I got it online, and I want to hear it in full when it arrives. Good!

I ate it just today, but not only do I like onion, I didn't even know it wasn't supposed to go in!

Very good Googoosh, like Yshmael Kouroush of whom I have a double collection. Material from before the Islamic revolution, naive and dated, but still curious. A brave label is reissuing everything for the Western world. On the theme of the East, I recommend giving a listen to the poppy Sarolta Zalatnay. On the more politicized theme, there's the Turkish Selda. Very good!

I think that Wakeford, in the long run, has shown greater "resilience" than Douglas Pearce. No masterpiece, but also no truly bad album. On the other hand, Death in June have created some very beautiful things, but they have also been struggling with a terrible decline in inspiration since the late '90s (from that period and in this regard, Sol Invictus is yielding better results than Death in June).

keep going, keep going...

cute the lamb, also related to trip hop. but after the second album in 1999, I abandoned them. maybe I should give them another try.
