What can I say, masterpiece... I take this review and film (where he portrayed a superb character) to bid farewell to Dennis Hopper.

Unfortunately, this film by Kim feels like a step backward for me compared to his previous works (in addition to the ones you mentioned, I would dare to include "La sammaritana" and "Bad Guy," which I consider absolute gems). This film is too wordy, unusual for Kim, and not very well resolved; however, it remains a good film... Nice review.

Geb, you will admit it, why should I say what you think? What does intellectually dishonest mean?

The gladiator, innovative techniques? I'm glad to know that there are still people who can be bbindoled by the Oscars... it's a bit like believing that Christmas gifts are brought by Santa Claus... "given that the Academy Awards are often awarded randomly..." well, this was one of those many times.

In one line I said much more than you did in a 20-line review! If you don't see what I saw, we have different sensitivities. (period)

Caparezza, what a sadness...

emotions: hallucinatory, restless, and uneasy; the power of the images: surreal and extreme, in short, a nightmare in the best tradition of the great Herzog.

It deserves respect for I DUELLANTI, Blade, Alien, and Thelma & Louise; the rest can easily be thrown away, including the gladius.
