What little I’ve heard is almost always embarrassing, both the lyrics and the music, and then those few times I’ve seen them in action have been ridiculous in terms of attire and gestures… It would be acceptable if they were between the ages of 10 and 15, but unfortunately, that's not the case.

I agree with your analysis, which in the previous review was presented as strictly technical, while I find your analysis focused on what the album leaves to the listener, or at least to a certain type of listener (me).

The review is so beautiful that it almost makes me reconsider the album, if it weren't for the fact that I feel like I'm intermittently listening to a soundtrack from a sci-fi film, and I feel even worse with those carpets of new age sounds and angelic choirs... For something that lies somewhere between sorrowful and dreamlike, I don’t think there’s a need for so much theatrical emphasis. I'm waiting for Cave to do the next soundtrack for the new Disney fairytale. There you go, the cover is spot on.

I love this album, I couldn't care less about pseudo-philosophical speculations or anything else; the music contained here says it all, this is a sonic journey. The review really entertained me.

Overall a good album, but certainly not essential. Rece, as you've already been pointed out, with many inaccuracies and that adds nothing to what is already known.
