I don't understand either why this album has been so underrated by critics, but whatever. With this album, I've definitely placed the band among my all-time favorites, also thanks to a song like Since I've Been Loving You, which I absolutely adore (Page's touches are something inhuman in terms of feeling and melody), and Tangerine, a small but great gem in the Zeppelin discography!

I recently listened to the album and I liked it a lot from the very beginning. Nothing to say about the review; it flows smoothly and is practically comprehensive, great job!

Load is perhaps one of the more decent albums post-'89, although of course it doesn't take much. For me, there can even be 4-5 reviews of an album; just motivate them differently from the others, but by now everything has already been said about this record.

Well, let's not exaggerate now; there are much worse things.

Giving a 5 to an album like this is already a failure from the start. For me, it's a 2.5, 3 for sentimental value, but absolutely no more than that.

I haven't listened to the album yet, but I commend you for the great maturity you've shown in reviewing an album that is hardly ever acknowledged by those who listen to the Priest. If only there were more people like that...

Trying to respond a bit to everyone:
-Clearly the original Deep were better, but twenty years ago, while you were seeing them in action, I was just being born!
-Paice has an insane passion for music, and he's a fucking humble person. Just think that when he saw that there were still people waiting for him outside after half an hour to three quarters of an hour at the end of the concert, he decided to give autographs to everyone. He introduced himself before playing, saying "I'm going to play for fun, so if there are any mistakes, they'll be my mistakes, not the band's!"
-Paice often performs in Verona as far as I know, and he's no stranger to similar events. For those who want to see him (and honestly, it's totally worth it), just stay updated on various sites, and as soon as you read the confirmation of a date, don't waste time and get the tickets, because I got lucky, but it was a close call!

@DeepFrank: sure! I believe they are the only tribute band to Deep Purple officially recognized by the band members themselves, and there's obviously a reason for that! In fact, they play following the typical live gems of the original lineup, including, as you mentioned, the keyboard solo.

Little Wing best cover ever.

There are people who are so boring when it comes to Queen that according to what you write, there are only two other bands. Anyway, whatever, you always defend yourself just with the excuse of Pezzali. If you don't have any better arguments, we can wrap it up here; you’ve been saying "Max here, Max there" since the beginning, even the walls have understood it.
