Judas Priest Stained Class

Embarrassingly great review, really impressive. By the way, I believe that just Beyond the Realms of Death is worth the purchase, as it is perhaps their best song, or at least among the top three.

Yes, I’m aware of the various "cases" you mentioned... I'm open to criticism, in the sense that I wanted to avoid this track by track approach, but at least for now, I haven't succeeded; maybe next time... Thanks for stopping by!

I agree. As far as I'm concerned, the Riot albums up to and including "The Privilege of Power" hit the mark every time, and any album one prefers from that period over the others is still a completely respectable choice. My favorite remains this Restless Breed, probably because songs like the title track, the cover of When I was Young, Loanshark, and Showdown completely captivated me...

I couldn't watch it for more than 30 seconds while a friend of mine was watching it at her place... let's say that its quality is inversely proportional to the brilliance of your review!
The Donnas Spend The Night

A perfect album for those who want a listening experience, as you said, where "on seriousness and deep reflections you flush it all away," although of course it should be given the rating it deserves. Great review!
Vinnie Moore Time Odyssey
Voto:
Never heard of this guitarist, but your review has piqued my interest. I'm particularly curious to delve into the world of playing fast but also well, and from how you've described him, this Moore seems to be just what I need. Great review otherwise!
Psychotic Waltz A Social Grace

Absolutely remarkable Prog Metal album for being from 1990 and especially as a debut album. Great recommendation!

I asked myself the same thing about popularity when I listened to various albums by Riot, a band I believe is even more underrated.
Iron Maiden Dance of Death
Voto:
FENNI perfectly expressed my thoughts (except for the 20 years, which for me translate into 6-7 intense months). As a fan of Iron Maiden, I have still appreciated this album in some ways, but if we want to be objective, this record, as you yourself said, does not deserve more than a 3. The Maidens gave their best in the '80s, and that is well known, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that they still have some noteworthy episodes (The X-Factor is a great album for a band considered to be on an inevitable decline, and A Matter of Life and Death is excellent considering the age of the group and the highly appreciable progressive nuances). And above all, how many groups at almost 60 years old can engage live like so few others.
Loudness Thunder In The East

A masterpiece without a doubt, worthy of competing with the works of other, certainly more renowned, groups. And Takasaki is the Malmsteen of the Land of the Rising Sun.
