I see plenty of typical comments from the alternative losers that only confirm my theory: when an "alternative" group gains a bit of success, especially in Italy, people start throwing crap at them out of bias...because they're not NICE, because they act all high and mighty, because...what a drag! You give the impression that it really bugs you when a group becomes more famous...strangely, the same treatment is reserved for Verdena, now for Teatro degli Orrori, and partly also for Le luci della centrale...coincidentally, the groups that have gained more visibility...strangely...you all seem rather pathetic.

What I detest is not that an artist might be somewhat overrated (like in the case of Brondi according to some), but this defeatist attitude of “the alternatives of my ass” (to quote Offlaga D.P) where one tends to throw dirt on any proposal that gains a bit of visibility (visibility that remains always very, very relative compared to that of infamous and hyper-promoted groups)... For me, just like the debut and the subsequent EGBDF, I highly recommend them to everyone. Perhaps aside from piece of cake, which doesn't say much to me but is still worthy, the other albums are all noteworthy.

Among the best things to come out of Seattle... a 4 and a half album in my opinion... Mark Arm is one of my favorite singers and the sound of Mudhoney, even their more recent work, just as great... truly fantastic and brilliant. PS they won’t sell much but they do have a decent following. I’ve seen them twice and there were about 800-1000 people watching them...

THE PROBLEM WITH METAL IN MY OPINION IS (MANY BUT NOT ALL) METALLERS...OFTEN MUSICIALLY DULL TO THE POINT OF BEING SCARY. AND MEGADETH HAS NEVER REALLY IMPRESSED ME...I FIND THEM...COLD IS THE RIGHT WORD.
