concert stunning. goosebumps. maybe some readings felt a bit forced but some were breathtaking. I believe that a large part of his detractors suffer from the syndrome of the “alternative music listener who, if a band gets any attention, has to trash them because they're favored or incapable or...”. Don’t like it? fine... but stop with your fatalistic tones like "he ruined my life". you’re pathetic.

I can’t listen to it anymore... but this album, in the realm of "popular" rock, is not bad at all.

Pop punk sounds harmless and too overexposed these days. I prefer something more intricate, like post-hardcore bands such as the Jesus Lizard. Nice review anyway.

I liked the film more than Kids (which I found self-indulgent) and maybe even more than Bully (which, although interesting in the first part, feels too much like something we've seen before in the second).

It really saddens me how "indie" music listeners continue to have the complex of selling 10 copies and having 10 people at concerts... you’ve got to be kidding!!! I also love Big Black and Jesus Lizard... but it's great that bands like TDO emerge from the underground and might play in front of 800 people instead of 30. And maybe they sell 10,000 copies instead of 10. It's only natural that the kid will be attracted to the "alternative band of the moment"... still, it's better than the umpteenth derivative band with no personality, praised by the four from Debaser just because they sell 3 copies. Yours is a mentality of whiny losers: if 2 more people know me, I’m a failure!! Funny enough, just look at the reviews of Nirvana or other bands known to the masses and you’ll see how the ratings are always terrible. Meanwhile, terrible albums are rated as masterpieces a priori just because that’s how "the alternative" is supposed to think. What a pain.

I usually prefer a direct assault... but this is a really great album.

"Indie rock" is trendy but it's really awful. They've sullied the word. I prefer The Strokes among that whole crew of fringe-haired wannabes.
