If you've lost your shine and enthusiasm, then why do you still write an industrial quantity of reviews every week? I don't know everything about everyone; I couldn't care less about the private lives of the characters. I know things that everyone knows, which is why I said you're stating the obvious.

I also quote Alexander. As I said before, you try to make yourself look good by reviewing certain things and end up copying or stating the obvious. At least you could have said that poor Steve was robbed of ideas by that bastard Gates, but I’m not sure it would have improved the situation.

I agree with you, a mediocre film, it felt like a (bad) TV product and maybe it was, I don’t know if it even made it to cinemas. The only somewhat decent idea was perhaps the young boy sinking into the black pit, but even that is rhetoric. I want to see Kusturica's take.
