Truly remarkable.
Elio Petri La Classe Operaia Va In Paradiso

I need to see him for ages, I'll make up my mind sooner or later. Proletariat, working class...My God, how light-years away all this seems!

Would someone care to give a brief summary of what the loquacious Mien MOn Man said (screamed) so that I can understand it too? :)
Chan-wook Park Trilogia Della Vendetta

The only one I saw is Lady Vendetta, which I didn't like at all; in fact, I hated the protagonist. I avoided watching the others as well.

Not in my name, certainly, freebird. I know very little about '80s KS. I'm sure I’ve listened to this, but I don't remember anything.
Brian De Palma Gli Intoccabili

I haven't seen him in ages. Hitchcock is a must in De Palma's films. Legendary. Great review.

Holy shit! I also need to get Igneo, where, from what I've read, there's Albini's involvement.
The Dillinger Escape Plan Option Paralysis

Not bad, but I’m not very convinced by the first part. The second one, on the other hand, is very good, with Piano, Twin, and the simple Chinese standing out above all.

Mein Gott! For a moment I truly believed it was finally a serious review of an album you like. And then, late 70s you say? Don't you actually know the early period of TD, from 70 to 75, with Electronic Meditation, Alpha Centauri, Zeit (which you place at the end of the 70s), Atem, in terms of the experimental period, and then Phaedra and Rubycon when they start to become more accessible: these are certainly superior. You talk about the pioneers of kosmische, but when it comes to electronics I would perhaps talk more about Kraftwerk. As for the compilation, not knowing it, I have nothing to say, but the thought of them releasing compilations on TD makes me chuckle a bit.

Punisher, it's not the lack of money itself that causes the unhappiness of a poor man who can't feed his children, but the fact that he is unable to make them happy. Happiness also comes from seeing others happy. Setting aside the fact that happiness, to be such, must also be immutable, indestructible regardless of external events—thus inner—when talking about fragile and impermanent happiness: in your opinion, is one who buys a car, for example, sweating buckets to afford it, happier than one who buys it with the same ease with which anyone would buy a kilo of potatoes? But you see, these are happinesses that don't last. I know a woman who had a very sick daughter and was also going through significant financial difficulties: well, I met her two days before her daughter's difficult surgery, and she had a serenity, a calmness that I couldn't explain. This woman practices Buddhism, but that's secondary; it doesn't matter how she managed it, the truly important thing is that she was spiritually several steps above me; put simply, her happiness, her serenity came from within her: and hers was not irresponsibility, ignorance, indifference, or recklessness. She was truly in that inner state of mind, despite everything, and above all, she was absolutely certain that her daughter would make it. I met her weeks later; the surgery had gone well, her daughter was out of danger, and her finances were also beginning to stabilize. To conclude: forget the little manuals, I believe I've already told you, they are just junk with the sole purpose of selling to the gullible who think that someone else holds the recipe for their own happiness.
