I think that, in the end, it’s not just a matter of sex, that is, of an animalistic instinct to reproduce. Man, in the sense of Homo sapiens, should have something different from other animals; there should be a more cerebral relationship between the two members of the couple, a mental union before a physical one. Sex for its own sake is fine, but sooner or later we need to establish a more genuine bond. The question at this point is, are we ready to truly love? Are we ready to give up our ego?

Discs are divided into various categories: there are those to download online, those that a friend lends you and you burn a copy for them and then return it, those that a friend lends you and you never return because you've figured out he doesn’t like it, those you only buy if you find them at a special price, and those you absolutely buy original and at any cost, preferably on vinyl. Well, this is one of the few that belongs to the last category. P.S. @ the clash, anything less than 5 is an insult, "Sympathy for the Devil" is the classic of classics by the Stones, and therefore of all rock, more than "Satisfaction" and "Paint it Black" combined.

In short, I still have them fresh in my mind because I downloaded the album at the end of August. I think you've praised them a bit too much. I mostly agree with Algol, it's an acceptable little record, nothing more.

Well... Frenk, I don't quite agree. In my opinion, the first two albums by Sabbath, and thus this one too, are not Metal, but rather hard blues/hard rock that is very saturated and heavy. However, from Master of Reality onwards, for me, it's more heavy metal than hard rock. And I say this because Iommi's guitar saturation level far surpasses that of his peers Blackmore and Page. Regarding Cream, it's worth mentioning that they were Hard Blues live; it was during concerts that Clapton's massive guitar truly came through, but in the studio, they always sounded a bit light, not even close to the saturated and heavy sound of Sabbath, so anyone who says that if the Sabbath were metal, then Cream were too, in my opinion, has said something really stupid. It is true that Cream influenced the style of a plethora of bands and guitarists that followed, including Sabbath, but that's not up for debate. Not to mention Ozzy's voice; his interpretations had something distinctly different from Plant, Gillan, etc. It's not about power, but about timbre. It's true that canonical Heavy Metal perhaps came later, so for Black Sabbath, I would say they did Heavy Metal before Heavy Metal, just as Hendrix at the 1967 Monterey festival did Hard Rock before Hard Rock. According to me, of course.
