Thank you to everyone present. For imasoulman: I still consider "Explosions In The Glass Palace" not very dissimilar from this. Although it unfolds in slightly more "linear" territories. For Franci: I agree that many of these bands tend to be quite caught up in certain stylistic dictates, but I still see the Opal as ahead of the curve. Anyway, I'm out of town, so I won't be back until Sunday. Keep the page warm!

There are moments, like this, when I would give this album a solid four. The magic of music!

It seems interesting. Opioid review.

I haven’t gone beyond "Enter The Wu Tang (36 Chambers)" with the Wu Tang Clan, my bad. I prefer things that are a bit more edgy in the rap scene. And they’ve all been mentioned here (God El-P and his long list of productions, Flying Lotus, Aesop Rock, and so on). The good recession, very good, but a bit lengthy.

The comparison to The Field Mice has my ears perked up. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I can listen to them anytime soon.

Hap, the video works perfectly for me. In any case, to be honest, the Radiohead remix doesn’t blow me away.

For me, Gotek is totally on another level compared to the Narkotek (any of the four), that's why I think it's sacrilege. Bong Ra, as far as I'm concerned, is the only one that can be compared to Kid 606. Venetian Snares, Breakcore yes, but also so much more. I would categorize it in a separate genre, thus out of category!

Caz (hope you don't mind the abbreviation), think that in the electronic realm what I listen to the most is Break Beat, so we're on the same wavelength (even though when it gets heavy, I think of "Ecstasy Motherfucker" or stuff like that, it kicks ass). Yosif, I would say to start with "Kill Sounds Before Sounds Kill You" and then move on to "Die Soundboy Die".
