Beach House Teen Dream

They get boring quickly. So much hype around them, but I don't understand why.

Algol, responding to your comment 21, the first thing that comes to mind is the lack of longevity. You listen to it, you digest it, and that’s it. And this lack of longevity, in my view, is a result of the album's lack of originality (which is, after all, a global issue in the musical realm it belongs to). Records like this – nice, among the interesting things of 2009, for sure – you can appreciate and criticize whenever you want, with the same ease.
Shackleton 3 Eps
Voto:
Nice album, although lately in the Dubstep scene I prefer stuff that’s a bit darker and more pulsating. Caspa, Rusko, Bar 9, Funtcase. More penetrating, more enveloping. Definitely less reflective than the more "avant" works (allow me the term) of Burial, Shackleton, and less dub than, I don’t know, Kode9.

Among the interesting releases of last year. Maybe it’s just that I’m tired of it all, but in the field of Heavy Psych (the same problem I still have with Stoner and Doom), I tend not to expect much and to be satisfied less and less often. I find flaws with ease, and I find too many of them. Perhaps I should listen more relaxed and let the flow of the music carry me away, without thinking that "someone has done it before (and better)". In the meantime, this one managed to spend a week on my iPod without fuss. Three out of three and a half.

Lukin's second comment is art!
Cable The Failed Convict

The samples speak clearly, I'm looking for them. By the way, I just recently put "Unsane" back on, and as every time I do, it was love. Riding the wave of passion, I'm going to see what these cables have to say.

You don't miss a shot. I'm looking for this right away!
At the Drive In Vaya

I was struck by the cover, so simple and (barely) symbolic, and I picked it up. I don't regret it, especially since shortly after I delved deeper with "Relationship Of Command". When the two long-haired guys were being serious!
Led Zeppelin BBC Sessions

I agree with Skeletron about the top show at the Royal Albert Hall. I have the DVD version and I also managed to find the audio version online; that's Zeppelin at their best. This should not be overlooked, as it definitely comes before all the other official live performances.

I think I heard some tracks from the new album live a couple of years ago. And the impact back then was remarkable.
