Kosmo: Yes, already done. In the last three days, I haven't listened to anything else, and I've never had such an impact from a "new" Motorpsycho album (I've been following them since 2003). Appestato: I can already see "Starhammer" live with those massive riffs blasting at full volume. And that ecstatic break! For those who raise the score: absolutely right. I kept it "low" mostly considering a hypothetical scale of values in their discography ("Blissard" is five stars/9.5 for me; "Timothy's Monster" is five stars/9; "Trust Us" is four and a half stars/8.5; "Angels And Daemons At Play" is four stars/eight and so on; considering that "Black Hole Black Canvas" and "Little Lucid Moments" are, respectively, six and seven (still three stars each), the score for this one is totally justified. Sorry for the numerical digression, but it was to better convey my voting perspective. In any case, I'm also waiting to test its longevity. For now, the level is high, very high!

The rating, to be honest, would be a three and a half, which in my view equals 7.5; whereas the three stars cover a range from 6 to 7. I place this, for now, slightly ahead of "Phanerothyme" and in front of all the productions post-2000.

They are as pumped up as they are "therapeutic." I actually don't mind them at all.

Did you know that I've heard it a little here and there, and I don't dislike it?

They are to be kept an eye on. Among the few names in the Heavy Psych scene capable of saying something in recent years. "Painted Shadow" from this year is also good, but the top in my opinion, however, is the self-titled album from last year.

Great review. I'm going to get this as soon as possible. The video posted with Redman's crew is splendid!

So much so that live, the Massive have a decidedly stronger impact reminiscent of Rock. Those guitars are definitely felt, pulsating with life.

I really like it, and quite a lot. I would even go so far as to say it's better than "100th Window" at first glance. But that was an album that proved to be timeless and could be "unwrapped" over time. With this one, the impact was better; let's see if it will last over time. In the meantime, I continue to venerate Del Naja.
