Gaunt I Can See Your Mom From Here

Guys, sorry, but Gaunt never made a "Destroy Oh Boy" (and if we're being picky, they never made an "At Rope's End" either. And what about the singles compilation? And the debut on Epitaph?). Maybe I'm biased, but in front of Jim Weber and the gang, no one in that field during the Nineties!

I'll be an asshole (and deaf), but my favorite Deerhunter is the first one, which, if we want to be honest, is the most quotable. After "Cryptograms" and the first Atlas Sound with the never-ending title.

Ferocious, and they also cover Pere Ubu. In fact, staying on the theme, it's worth mentioning "Ubu Dance Party," 38 bands from Ohio (including New Bomb Turks, Brainiac, and Cobra Verde). "Sob Story" is my favorite, and "Jim Motherfucker," if you want to go big, is the "Louie Louie" of the American Garage Punk scene of the '90s.

The second of the "Peel Session" is another story, as far as I'm concerned.

I had heard it a few years ago, but I didn't remember it being so fiery. Truly a great track, the rediscovery starts now.

Oh, I know the review is crap, but at least give a series of 5 to good old Watt, right?

Well, it seems quite logical to me to be able to trace a "map" sixteen years later, with the hindsight of the subsequent evolutions. The analysis is very clear and "Foil" is the first great masterpiece by Autechre.

"fragments of the past and glimpses of the future." It's no coincidence that we talked about foresight. Rather: I don’t know why I sent four, I meant to say five. Far be it from me to be a pretentious snob with Uncle Mike!
