one by one, you’re reviewing them all for me. My sleaze milestones, I mean. They recently passed through Rome and I wasn’t there, but they told me I didn’t miss anything. Downe is on the brink of obesity. I like to remember them like that, toxic to the core. But I prefer the second album, which I think is sharper, more mature. The other night I went to see L.A. Guns: they were very friendly and accommodating, the concert was fun, Lewis is still in shape (weird!). They arrived at the venue in a beat-up van, just as I was outside having a cigarette. I look at the guy next to me and with a knowing look I say, "the 80s feel far away, huh?" (referring to their mode of transportation) "yeah, quite far away," he replies. But they’re still in the game, damn it. This is rock'n'roll too.

Great Adam Bomb, a Bolan for the sleaze generation of strip. I don't know this album, I'm looking for it. Measured review, almost sober. Are you becoming professional? :-)

WARNING: this person, besides being a depraved little brat (which isn't that serious), is, much more seriously, a dangerous little brat. Read his comments on Fosca's editorial. I propose an immediate boycott. And, by the way, IDIOTS, is this moron really that funny to you?
Henry Miller Tropico del Capricorno

Since we are on the topic of Millerian recommendations, in addition to the other Tropic, I also suggest "The Air-Conditioned Nightmare" and "Black Spring," all three essential (in my opinion).
Brand New Deja Entendu

emo or not emo? An interesting question, much like Morgan's exclusion from Sanremo or an episode of Big Brother. So: many people love to talk about emo, but the reality is that before being a music genre, it's a cultural construction/constraint. So, who cares. This remains a beautiful and underrated album, with the right "urgency," as SID puts it. Cheers.

Beautiful review. When I read about the 2 hours of love, I felt a surge of envy. But they were just fantasies...
