@Purpulan: it's definitely brain pop. However, I listen to music in these percentages: 90% car radio - 10% at home. So I have to like it for sure in the car, whether it's light or not :-)

I know the ZZ Top from the '70s (Tres Hombres, Fandango), but not the ones from the '80s. The other day I was tempted to buy "Eliminator," but I backed out. What do you think, is it worth it?

You're right, it's beautiful. One of the few indie groups where the hype surrounding them is fully justified by the musical substance they deliver. Well done, excellent recommendation.

I have their first 3 (in vinyl). They're not my favorites; I find them a bit overrated, but "open up..." is a good album, as well as some great tracks on the debut and Flesh and blood. I don't know this one. I didn't know the story about the horns; it strongly reminds me of Terry-Bridge :-) oh, I’m waiting for your news about crashdiet. Cheers!

Here, this time I really liked you. Sober and essential, a clear review. I only know their "Ire Works," which is beautifully crazy. I have practically everything by Patton (except for this one). He is amazing.
Motörhead 1916

Black Sabbath end with Never Say Die. After that, they’re no longer the Sab, they’re another band. "1916" was the last album by Motörhead that I listened to; after that, I lost track of them. Good record, I agree with the reviewer. And good review.

FUNK! a beautiful record, half a step under "there's a riot goin' on." Great review. A tip for old and new funksters: listen to the latest from the Whitefield Brothers, it's a blast for me.

I remember the Tendastrisce in Rome, many years ago. One of the last concerts of the little brothers. Joy was brought to the microphone stand on someone's arm. Poor thing, he could barely see anymore. The smoke tossed before entering because there were drug dogs. Sleeping on the bench at Termini station. Going back home at dawn, exhausted, with a smile plastered on my face. What memories. A little tear.
