I’m struggling to download, but I'm almost there. On the Scandinavian scene, I’d like to say a couple of words too: I really appreciated the first Crashdiet, a glam album from the 2000s, but not only that. It’s in the top 10 of the genre. I even forgive them for the intro of "needle in your eye," a semi-derivative of "lay it down" by Ratt. I also really like the latest Babylon Bombs, even though they have a much more modern sound, less tied to typical 80's solutions (some things remind me of the wonderful Wildhearts). Crazy Lixx? Ridiculous, no; entertaining, yes, but too Kiss-oriented as well. Vains of Jenna? The sound is in line with BB, but they possess half the talent and a third of the hooks. I still need to listen to Gemini Five and Nasty Idols, but I’m not expecting much. In short: two really good bands (Crashdiet and BB), the others are just getting by. Will Reckless Love be the third point? We’ll see. Cheers (from core) to core :-)

People are discussing, discussing. Here you go. I justify my 3 on the review: well-written but verbose. The rating (2) is for the artist, not the album (which I haven't listened to and won't listen to; the previous ones are enough for me).

Okay for the Crashdiet Core, no worries. There will be an opportunity. Maybe if the topastri came to Italy... :-)

I had the CD, I shamefully lost it during the last, devastating move. Absolutely not a 4-star album, allow me. Psychedelia of the '60s in some parts quite clichéd (in "Honey Bee" they sound like a Brit group of the time, if I remember correctly the Dawn of the Replicants), maybe I like them more when they do Britrock (which I don’t abhor). Great review, very professional.

Mythical. Full trust in you, in fact, I will imminently try to download it. The singer is an ex-Crashdiet, right? STAY GLAM

He is one of the best actors of his generation. I haven't seen the film, but I'll try to do so. The review is a bit sparse.

I have to listen to them, they should be just right for me. You, as always, very good.

Never supported them. I tried to listen a couple of times to "Tomb..." and felt like an idiot. I don't mean to say that anyone who listens to CC is, just that I felt that way. I also agree with Stoney's point about the band's "conceptuality." They appeared in "Ace Ventura" because they were strongly wanted by Jim Carrey, their huge fan. Who would have thought, right?

I had a Pedro album, but it didn't really convince me that much. One of those artists that I might (re)discover in a few years. Great review, essential just the way I like it.
