Slayer World Painted Blood

No, I don't agree. How can anyone rate the latest Slayer album with 4 balls? It barely deserves a 3. In fact, it doesn't even reach that. We need to be a bit critical: Slayer is running on fumes. They've given a lot, but now it's enough. It's a rehashed album, lacking ideas. Only Cerati from Rumore still praises it.

Listened to briefly, they don’t sound too bad. I won’t give a rating yet. Nice segnalaziòn.

I don't know them, these days I've been enjoying (among others) Heavens Edge, who I think play a similar genre (class-hard-aor)... I must say that these HE have a handful of good tracks. I only knew them for the single, "Skin to skin." But the band that's driving me crazy is Sven Gali: what an album! Maybe my next review. In conclusion, a judgment on Reckless Love: good album, they're on a slightly softer side compared to other Scandinavian sleaze bands, quite mixed with AOR (I'd call them soft bubble glam). Some tracks (Love machine, sex, Back to paradise) remind me a lot of Def Leppard's Hysteria. Anyway, good record (6.5). For me, in the triad (Crashdiet-babylon bombs-reckless love)

I don't know him. Crue album ranking: 1. Too Fast for Love 2. Shout at the Devil 3. Dr. Feelgood. Best song ever (by the Crue, of course): Kickstart My Heart.

And I want to add one thing to the discussion of fiquata, then we’ll return to Africa: read the text by Adorno, it’s true, it explains a lot. That said, it’s obvious that here no one JUSTIFIES IN ANY WAY the massacre perpetrated by the Nazis. In any way. Returning to Africa: fiquà, recommend some African psychadelic-psych-funk-jazz records from the seventies.

I like vaguely autobiographical reviews, so 4 stars to you. Nothing to them because I haven’t listened to them, and I don’t even know if I will. Au revoir

I fully agree with your vision of the group. So far, I've listened to the album distractedly on my PC, which doesn't do it justice. I'll return for the rating after I've properly absorbed it on my system. From the first impressions, it might lead me into a whirlwind of madness... PS: initially, I had confused them with the Swedish blacksters. Is it possible that no one references anyone? Do you know anything about it?

I agree with the ethnocentrism of the film in question: it is made by Westerners for Westerners. Nonetheless, I still consider it an excellent film. I don't think it's made for simple minds; it can emotionally engage even those who are already familiar with the situation in Rwanda. For those who (guilty or not) were unaware of everything, it's a good way to learn about a piece of recent history. However, aside from the good-versus-evil discourse, the blue helmets don't come out looking very good, quite the opposite...

""Hotel Rwanda" is a film from 2004. It is not interesting, the good is good and the bad is bad; it’s not stylistically engaging; it doesn’t intrigue with its characters; it doesn’t have a narrative structure that keeps you there, frozen, drooling without closing your eyes for even a second. It’s not beautiful, at least I wouldn't define it as beautiful, but it is necessary." No, I disagree. Besides being necessary, as you rightly say, it is also a good film. So: interesting, moderately engaging, with a solid narrative structure. With an excellent Don Cheadle.
