My Beloved Force Feeding Love

Surely interesting, but this music needs darkness, peace, a good pair of headphones, time to spare, and a willingness for night listening. All things that I currently lack. Unfortunately. You’re very talented, though.

I really think you didn’t grasp the stylistic signature of the character. I quote: "he has in fact proposed the same low-fi pop we already know, thus demonstrating that his carelessness is intentional, independent of the means at his disposal." Exactly. It’s not the producer, or the 2-year break: his sound is nevertheless deliberately lo-fi. "there are too many echoes of music we've already heard and, what's worse, with elusive sonorities" – this is also intentional, this is also studied. The bringing back of "vintage" sounds is not a defect at all, since the goal is to unpick these sounds, to de-contextualize them, in order to create the typical déjà vu effect. And then, aside from my interpretations and yours, this remains a record of really great songs. Regards.
George A. Romero Land of the Dead

Like Bartolo, I have a true obsession with zombie movies...I haven't seen this one. However, recently I stumbled upon the one with running zombies...I don't think it was by Romero...can anyone help me with the title? In this genre, I really enjoyed 28 Days Later (and the sequel). Great review!

Hello everyone. @BLECHTROMMEL: I really enjoyed the latest Fuh, maybe you could review them ;) I only know Monad Stanca by name. Would you recommend them to me? çALGOL: give them a listen, I think you'll like them.
Black Sabbath The Eternal Idol

The Black Sabbath end with "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath." After that, whether you like them or not (I don't), they are another band: less sulfurous, less psychedelic, less bluesy, less innovative, more canonically hard'n'heavy. It's no coincidence that all the stoner, sludge, and heavy-psych bands that cite them as their influence refer exclusively to the Ozzy era. There, the rambling is over. Anyway, all this to say that they should have changed their name.

How snobbish we are here on Deb. Nice. The being snobbish, not the movie (which I haven't seen).

I'll see him tomorrow, if I can make it. Then I'll go over it for reading and commentary.
Litfiba Desaparecido

I don't know who kicked Maroccolo out (and I don't care) but Korrea's analysis is fundamentally correct. That’s why I don’t agree with the reviewer: Litfiba made 3 great albums (17 Re, Desaparecido, 3) to which I add the live album Aprite... and then, after Maroccolo, a flashy rock sound that at the time (I was a teenager during the El Diablo and Terremoto period) I enjoyed quite a bit, but which I realized was inconsistent over the years (sigh). So, musically speaking: thumbs up for Maroccolo, thumbs down for Pelù-Renzulli.
