Okkervil River are one of my favorite bands, I don't know them, but I'll remember them because I think they deserve it. Welcome back, coward!!

I don’t know, I’ve listened to a few things, but they don’t sound garage to me. Stoner yes, garage no, if by this term we mean a line that starts with the Elevators, goes through Morlocks-Fleshtones, and ends up with BJ Massacre, Time Flys, and the like. For me, Sabbath aren't metal, so yes, they have nothing to do with Savatage (and thank goodness for that).

Ah, and then I may be old, but when it comes to "psychedelic garage rock," I think of something completely different.

Good group, but there are 1000 like this. I agree with the skull.

Progressive death metal brings together, in itself, two of the musical genres that I just can't stand (except for a few names). I don't think I'll listen to it, but the review is good.

It's really a shame that you lost that folder (remember?)... Anyway, between De Sio and Crashdiet there's a whole world: yours.

Well done, good job. The point about the arrogance of the "seventies" is also right; although, in my opinion, it's a matter of perception. Let me explain: everyone is more attached to the records of their own generation, from when you were 15-18 years old. I consider the records from my time (early 90s) as "the records that saved my life"; I'll never be so viscerally and intensely connected to an album again. But to say that nothing good comes out anymore, or that rock is dead, is nonsense from magazines like Buscadero and Rolling Stone. Speaking of No Age: good band, I think with this work they've made giant strides compared to the previous "Nouns," which I found a bit blurry. We'll see. Welcome and congratulations.

I downloaded these a while ago, caught up in a fever for various sound extremities. At times they’re decent, but in the end, like all death-black stuff, they give me two balls worth of annoyance. So: failed. When the BUUUUUAAHHHHH kicks in at the beginning of the tracks, hilarity overwhelms me. Anyway: a hilarious review that tries (successfully) to lighten the tones of a music genre that all too often takes itself way too seriously. Kudos to the "bear progression" :)
