The Rolling Stones Exile On Main St.

whoever listens to prog doesn’t deserve to exist, just like the cellar-dwellers. This is an absolute masterpiece, rough and tough rock'n'roll, bastard child. Basically, it’s the only genre of music worth listening to.
Baby Chaos Safe Sex, Designer Drugs & The Death Of Rock´N´Roll

The review is well written but somewhat misleading. Let me explain: the pop punk in the Green Day style has little to do with this; rather (like all the British guitar bands of that time, some of which you mentioned like the MSP or the very early Terrorvision, and others like Therapy?) there was an attempt to combine the typical abrasiveness of certain noise with the classic open melodies of British rock, while keeping a keen eye on the melodic punk that in that land gave birth to bands of the caliber of Buzzcocks and Undertones. Of course, there was also a bit of metal, and there were obviously a touch of Nirvana as well. In any case, a rather underrated band; I really liked them.

I agree with the review. I really liked it, even though it strays quite a bit from what I’ve been listening to lately. The first 10 tracks are more successful one after the other; towards the end it drops a bit, maybe it's just a tad too long. A great album, though the guy tends to rub many the wrong way, I don't know why.
Motorpsycho and Ståle Storløkken The Death Defying Unicorn

this record sucks big time, it's good that everyone knows it. Motorpsycho are finished, FINISHED, kaputt, it's over baby. Bloated and stale prog, pompous and devoid of ideas. They splatter all over themselves like fifteen-year-olds with a cock that smells of dried sperm on pubic hair. Go fuck yourselves, you don’t understand shit. Motorpsycho were, unfortunately, something entirely different.

Thee Oh Sees Carrion Crawler / The Dream

5's album, their best. Thee Oh Sees today are rock'n'roll: it's even reductive to define them as "garage."

I'm increasingly wanting to listen to Negazione, Kina, and Indigesti again.

A nostalgic tear. For Entombed, inevitably a thumbs up. Wolverine Blues still kicks ass today.
