Moltheni Secret Concert Milano 13/03/09

Ingrediente Novus pleasantly surprised me; I didn't have a high regard for Moltheni, but in this resounded anthology, a beautiful personality shines through. Recommended.

From the net, the black pearls of Blob Dylan: Self Portrait, Street Legal, Dylan & the Dead, Down in the Groove. The first reaction to listening to Self Portrait is "What is this shit?". In pure Christmas and Debaserian spirit.
The Germs Live @ The Cube - Cagliari 11.12.09

They generate too much excitement and put the Germs in a bad mood: they are not the originals, from the distant times when you didn't even read La Pimpa :)
Bob Dylan Christmas in the Heart
Voto:
I really think he "had fun" and "messed around": the little Christmas piece isn't so "bad," the Blob is very off-key - in every sense - however, it pales in comparison under the tree to Sufjan Stevens' Christmas (according to my kids' judgment). Excellent review.
Claudio Baglioni Q.P.G.A.

Dear Avv. Primiballi, I find your reviewer's outpouring quite sincere: I confirm that back in the day (the late '70s) with the Divo Claudio, one could sometimes gain a differential advantage in picking up, and nothing more, never as much as with Alan Zabaglione Sorrenti. Good results were obtained in the romantic arena at different times with Led Zeppelin (Page in his boots was quite the pull) and the Smiths, and maybe even with SunnO)). As for Faber, I am certain he would not have gone overboard anyway; there is plenty of sociopolitical material out there for free souls with the cannon of committed poetry from the courtyard. And with Faber Mister G Gaber, about your beloved Battisti with dark, dark seas and clucking chickens... let’s just say that his obladì obladà is well known.

Beautiful idea of the cosmic western, punctuated more by ice and air conditioning dispensers than by cacti (it reminds me of Baudrillard's reflections on the USA). Take it easy with the mezcal, Big Cimmi!

Strange disc, not easy to digest; in some parts I'd prefer more "singer-songwriter" style and in others more "avant-garde." The same review a bit Ondarock-like comforts me in my judgment.

If there's a hint of Pere Ubu + early NIN (samples and trumpets make me think of TG from Heathen Earth), I go searching, I remember unanimous celebrations of the record, the review is enticing.
