Memory Tapes Seek Magic

A review decidedly superior to the reviewed, praised all over the place, and this is a mystery to me (a bit like the 2nd Fuck Bottons); maybe Giacobbo can provide an answer?

As for restaurants, trattorias, kiosks, it depends. No doubt about the review.

I'm doing a memory exercise: the first of the DCD is "new wave" even if it's a bit out of time (depending on the critics), much like Spleen An Ideal. Within The Realm Of A Dying Sun is absolutely my favorite. The reviewed piece really feels like an academy exercise, a sort of self-cover. It's true they could have given more.

Having listened a couple of times, the singer's tone feels a bit monotone, interesting lyrics (intellectual? and why not?), all immersed in a vintage '70s atmosphere. I recall about other intellectual mystics here far too revered: "Until a few days ago, I was almost convinced to cast my vote for the PDL. The last speech by President Berlusconi regarding the Arab matter didn’t sit well with me; in fact, I thank him because he clarified my thoughts, solving what was my problem of whom to vote for. On the other hand, as a citizen, I feel obliged to vote, and leaving a blank ballot bothers me. Our country is very complicated, with many issues to resolve. The trend is emerging where it seems that rather than voting for someone, we are voting against the president. Thank goodness there’s the Northern League. I prefer to make a choice, fully aware that we are electing gentlemen who will only be there for five years. Berlusconi has many virtues, but lately he has been going through a heavy and particularly unfortunate period." Regarding the controversies that have recently engulfed the Church concerning the cover-up of some cases of sexual abuse against minors, Ferretti stated: "This is a publicity campaign that does not disturb the believer. Evil exists, it has always existed. Who doesn't recognize it? If the Church has endured Nazism and Fascism, it will have no difficulty in withstanding and overcoming this publicity movement, because that’s what it is."

It's the re-make/re-model of Ian's relationship with Annik (has this fragile and torn man ever found peace, I would say "paralyzed" while reading Control in the face of the choices?) - for a while now I have left the Mancunian torments in the CD tower: they sound strange to me on the adulterous scene, twisted around the emerging guilt of the lovers...

Recent reading of Guardiola and the educated segment of Barcelona, given the modest performances against Inter.

The cover photo was taken in the late 1950s. The one I use was on the back of the ellepi. The track Circle in Round (in 12/8) was recorded on December 4, 1967, mastered in 1968 (and unreleased until 1998) by my trusted Teo from an assembly of no less than thirty-five recorded takes, and in 1979 for publication it was reduced (not by Teo) by about a fifth.

According to Mr. Geeno, here’s all the dialogue: Did you know that scampi are aphrodisiacs? - Yes, but they are also quite heavy. - Are they held against you? - I don't quite get it. - They come back to you…do you see them again?!

She is good, crafting a learned review, self-satisfied, artfully snobbish, a bit affected and precious, for a film of the lowest caliber; in the end, she has time and quality to dedicate to nothing. I take pleasure in this, we are worldly men; or perhaps not. I return to the Fratelli d'Italia by Alberto Arbasino, to the Sonate per Clavicembalo by Galluppi, and remembering that I don't like panettone (and even less cine-p). I greet you cordially.
