I've been listening to the Clash for only a short time (I only have "Sandinista!" from them, and I couldn't have spent my money better) and honestly I've never had the chance to see them live, but I believe a better review was in order. Any notes on the production? The band's current state of shape?

Critiques expressed in an intelligent, thoughtful, and above all, competent manner (truly noteworthy qualities). Even though I consider this album excellent, like their entire discography, I appreciate how you formulated the critique, congratulations again.

De André has never appealed to me, I don't know why but he has never really attracted me that much, yet tastes are tastes.

Shinodoo1986, I share what you're saying, and in my opinion, the obsession against bands like these (it's not just the Dream Theater) is a typically Italian "trend." Let me give you an example: Necrodeath is a band generally respected by everyone (those who hate extreme thrash are another story), but if for any reason they were to release an album under Sony (you can't imagine how much I hope they do, because they deserve it), sell billions of copies (I hope even more for that), and end up in the major magazines in the industry or others as well, in our well country they would go from a "cult" band to "sellout scum." Unfortunately, that's how it is, and I base my assertion on conversations with foreign metalheads (this phenomenon affects heavy metal impressively), who don’t overthink the "commercial," the "sellout," the "underground," and the "real" and "fake" metal; they judge independently of sales (at least those I've talked to) or popularity. P.S. I didn't like this album by Dream Theater simply because it didn't give me the emotions that "Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence" gives me, an album I consider beautiful!

The review is well written, but the question arises (if you paid for the ticket): why did you go? P.S. As for Marco Carta, well, we are in Italy, the land of toys where there are idiots with bows!

The review is nice; honestly, they leave me indifferent because they are too unoriginal. If I want to listen to an old-school Metallica copy, I’ll just listen to the latter, not Trivium. Anyway, write, and for me it's always better that the kids listen to these than to the other crap our beautiful country serves up every single day (no reference to bands like Necrodeath or Novembre, people like them, with balls, who get forgotten here in favor of complete idiots).
P.S. Heavy Metal is not a religion; you can love Darkthrone and also Lacuna Coil, no one forbids it! Bye :-)

Eros Ramazzotti and metal?!!! The only compliment I can give you is that for the first time on this site you almost made me lose my cool (saved at the last moment). As for Ramazzotti, to me he represents everything, along with those other two "geni" Pausini and Rossi, which makes 3/4 of Italian music unlistenable (yes, I can’t stand Italian music, except for a few bands and singers, and I’m not afraid to say it; I even add that I don’t like De Andrè or Guccini, go ahead and stone me, I don’t care). The rating I gave, although it may seem otherwise, does not stem from your tastes (which are personal and I respect for that) but from the fact that I find your writing to be unanalytic and full of mistakes; in fact, aside from the metal allusion, even if you don’t like Eros, he doesn’t seem to fit very much into dance music, but if I’m wrong, correct me and I’m also ready to apologize.

You piqued my curiosity and I listened to "Heroin." Well, I must say, for a song from the '60s, it’s truly innovative. It has a "dirty" sound that clashes quite a bit with the precision and, in a sense, cleanliness of bands like the Beatles. In conclusion, it’s really a beautiful song. I don't like the review; I admire the desire to express one's emotions, but you could have also included a bit of product description. At least that’s my opinion, which, of course, is not gospel. Hello everyone.

You write very well, but in my opinion a review should make it clear to the reader what the group is offering. After all, the purpose of analyzing an album (but also a book or a film) is precisely this: to describe the product, add your own considerations, and in the end, the people reading want to understand whether what has been reviewed might please them or not. I repeat, you write very well, and I read your work with pleasure, but this is my idea... no hard feelings. Bye.
