Old Man's Child Vermin

Welcome! The review is a bit..."raw", but don't get discouraged. And you started off well; I really like Old Man's Child (I don't find this album very inspired, to be honest...) and these days I plan to review "In Defiance Of Existence". So...don't mess with me, or I'll send the Negramaro to your house!!!!

...he held one of his last concerts before Christmas, in a theater in Lecce, and in January he passed away. I couldn't go because I didn't have all that money, and I was left with a huge regret. Your review moved me.

To my friend Gasta: my heart is divided, but I want to be sincere with you... I didn't like this review, despite it being impeccable from a technical and formal standpoint. I find it a bit "forced" and mechanical... what should I do, wash my hands like Pilate and abstain from voting? I'm not apathetic: 3 (although I won’t rate the work). But to all the DeCommentators who criticize Gasta for the choice of the work: what is it that scandalizes you so much? By now, on this site, everything is reviewed, and often the quality of the writing isn’t at this level. So, if I didn’t know a thing about Baudelaire and his "Flowers," and I typed a review of the work into the search engine, I would be happy to read what Gasta has written. He has still provided a good service.

THE WIG has always been an ornamental tradition in the Western world (with some exceptions in China and Japan). Wigs were worn by the Egyptians (to protect the head from the sun), by the Greeks, the Phoenicians, and the Assyrians. After a period of decline, in the 16th century, the wig made a grand comeback as an anti-baldness solution but also, and most importantly, as an aesthetic embellishment. One cannot underestimate the hygienic function related to the significant reduction of lice that shaving the hair allowed. IN THE PAST, THE WIG WAS ALSO A MALE FANCY, with Louis XIII of France promoting its use; even Elizabeth I used to wear a "flaming" wig. The Anglo-Saxon world, especially under King Charles II, contributed to making the wig A STATUS SYMBOL, giving wig makers (hairdressers) considerable prestige. The cost of wigs was decidedly high (today it is no longer the case) due to the difficulty of sourcing human hair; the solution at that time was horse and goat hair—heavy yet economical. Giulio Soffiato states: “THE WIG HAS COME BACK STRONGLY IN VOGUE IN RECENT YEARS. Our centers are a reference point for theatrical companies and performers, as well as for anyone looking for wigs for the fancy of changing their look for a day; even renting has become a successful formula we practice today. I would like to spend a few words on the theme of fashion: today, fashionable wigs have an affordable cost and are likely the next frontier of the changing trends that permeate not only the runways but also the squares of avant-garde cities, a true thermometer for trend seekers. Wearing a wig for the evening is a bit like putting on colored contact lenses or resorting to tanning lamps; it satisfies the NEED FOR HEDONISM and the pursuit of beauty, which is a true priority in today's world. There is no shame in rediscovering the pleasure of loving oneself and feeling beautiful, and the wig can contribute significantly and innovatively.” Wigs are increasingly appearing on runways and in fashion circuits. A means to dare and change for a night, but also a way to create scenery (brands like Undercover and Yoshi Yamamoto are masters in this). The fashionable wig this season is undoubtedly the one that mimics a perfect bob. The label Imitation of Christ used this model in the latest shows.

In short, in my previous comment I repeated "in short." It's just that even the light from the screen now hurts my eyes. In short... Bye.
