I calmly give your review a 5 because it sheds valid light ("light" on the Cure???) on the extra-musical struggles of the band in recent years. As for the album in question, I possess the second version (“Enhanced CD”) strictly in original; but after five years of listening (now less frequent, to be honest), I still don't know what to think. I would like to finally scream all my disappointment, but my heart twists against my head and they fight fight fight, then, exhausted, they reconcile over a cold beer and postpone the judgment for another day. So it's been since 2004!! In short, damn, how do you do it? (I confess I haven't had the courage to listen to the latest work yet. I will wait for the fierce criticism to calm down so I can approach it with a more serene spirit.)

Okay, I wrote it without re-reading. Addressed to no one in particular, I was just considering that sometimes, even if you have a big name and make good music, if you find yourself in the wrong place you'll have twenty or thirty people under the stage. Then, on that particular occasion, it seemed to me that even Bregovic and his orchestra started to have more fun when we were just a few. (Then I don’t know about Fine Before You Came...) No Hymnen, beer thoughts...CHEERS!
