yes yes...I can picture Scirea and Franco Baresi, yes yes, also Roberto Baggio...yes, I can really imagine them scoring a hand goal in a World Cup semifinal and celebrating, yes Algol...yes yes...perhaps you are younger than me by birth and therefore you only know today's football (which I don't want to comment on), and you have a "mythologized" image of Maradona. However, I was lucky enough to experience another kind of football, and I saw Maradona play...and...let's leave it at that...

Algol, you might be able to kick a ball as well as you want, but if you're in bed with the mobsters, in my eyes, you're a piece of shit. Period.

For goodness sake, but in him people really saw the genius and the typical weaknesses of every Artist... Best drank, okay, and had fun with beautiful girls; but at least he didn't GO TO DINNER WITH THE CAMORRA like Maradona. Did I just say heresy?

Alright Fede, I hope it doesn't disappoint you... even now I occasionally dig it up, it's a listen that's not too demanding and very relaxing (cathartic I would say...) and I always enjoy it greatly. In short, it has held up well over time, and I hope it doesn't let you down.

I apologize if I'm a damn old stickler, but for me a Champion must be one both on and ABOVE all off the playing field. Maradona was a scoundrel, the Argentine/Italian emblem of the corrupt rotten society of the Eighties. No, I can't accept an obvious handball goal in a World Cup semifinal, I can’t accept his subsequent celebration, I can't accept that it should be passed off as a stroke of genius. For me, Champions are, and will always be, others...Facchetti, Cruyff, Van Basten, Best...and also Meroni.

...the movie, in fact, is a colossal kitsch, overflowing with clichés. As for the review, the mere phrase “Maradona is a tango played by the Rolling Stones” is worth 5 stars, well done. I disagree with you on the perception of the man Maradona, because for me he had neither pride nor courage, but only an immense amount of luck compared to champions who deserved much more than him but weren’t born in the right country or at the right time... George Best, for example, or our poor Gigi Meroni :(
