this is a simply colossal live performance, but I still prefer the more "contained" Zappa shows which are just as explosive (vol. 2 of the "you can't do that on stage" series or the posthumous "imaginary disease"). I dropped this one right away because it felt quite heavy to listen to, but I would definitely do well to reconsider it. however, the version of stairway to heaven is unforgettable :) still, I believe the best version is this

it works like this: she has an exaggerated derango (no one knows why, but maybe because she de-ams many users, who knows). for sure, though, if she were to de-am someone with a ridiculous derango like mine or yours, hers would inevitably drop. in order to avoid that, she cleverly weighs her choices with a certain cynicism to outsmart the competition. oh, and by the way, she’s part of the staff... they definitely gave her some kind of bonus, otherwise it just doesn’t make sense ;-D
