Sorry, brat, but you're off track. Metal Gear is a saga (the first episode for PS1 is nothing more than the fourth in the saga, like Star Wars) and should be taken as a whole. The PS1 episode is remembered because it was the first in 3D, but the series had already debuted and made a big splash years earlier.
