I never said that Martin does propaganda, nor that he is a serial killer. "I've always been interested, in general, in uncommon practices, at the edge of imagination, and I've tried to transpose this into my stories and characters. Whether the reader identifies with them or not doesn't concern me much; the important thing is that I provide something new." That's what Martin does. It's a shame that this "new" is made up of those things from which he draws inspiration because apparently he is fascinated by them even before being disgusted, as stated in the interview. Of course, that is fascinating, but a TV program is nauseating, it's repulsive... well.
