I saw him in Trento a year ago, and it’s really true... Bob Dylan continues with his philosophy of renewing the songs every time, without a brake and without a limit... so he ruins them, plain and simple. It’s fine up to a certain point, some ideas are good but others are terrible. I remember recognizing very few songs. I understand that he has to rearrange the old pieces to fit what’s left of his voice, but at this point wouldn’t it be better to carry on a live discourse of reapproaching the roots of American culture as he’s been doing for a long time in his records??
