Alessandro Baricco Castelli di Rabbia

beautiful book, but inferior to the lyrical masterpiece "oceano mare". I read it two years ago or so, I liked it, but it didn't blow my mind. Of course, certain scenes, certain ideas are phenomenal.

Barry Levinson Rain Man

4.5 rounded. A very American film, I completely agree, but ultimately very beautiful. Great Tom Cruise and incredible Dustin Hoffman, truly impressive. The one who doesn't convince me is Valeria Golino, with that dragged voice of someone who just woke up... bah. But fortunately, she’s not at the center of the film =)

A friend of mine is obsessed with Sigur Rós, so I’ve listened to all their albums... I'm not crazy about them, but they know what they're doing. Albums like that don’t really attract me.

Black Sabbath The Eternal Idol
Voto:
you know the history of the sabbath well!! But you fell a bit short on the description of the album itself... but whatever! nice review anyway. I know little about the post-Dio sabbath, it’s not my genre (and even the albums with Ronnie are really on the edge...) I’ve heard some things but it doesn’t drive me crazy.

Saverio Costanzo La Solitudine dei Numeri Primi

horrible film, probably one of the ugliest I've ever seen, and I give it a one not as a formality but from the bottom of my heart. Discussing it on the way out with friends, we concluded that the director simply needed to follow the book's storyline closely (which was clearly written with the intent of making a film) and instead, he wants to add that touch of psychedelia, a very light sprinkle of symbolism. He wants to play back and forth with flashbacks. The result? The audience is left exhausted, the film never takes off, there's only boredom, just boredom.
Charles Bukowski Post Office

I've read "Companions in Booze" by Bukowski, but it didn't excite me. It's not among my more immediate interests, let's put it that way.
