beautiful review and I feel like agreeing, but with reservations. In the end, let’s take these things for what they are: fun. It may be true that they don’t help with understanding the reference book, but it’s also true that perhaps some brave soul, excited by Jack Black, will go read that total masterpiece which is Swift’s book. Will they be disappointed? I don’t know, I haven’t seen the film so I can’t tell how much it distorts... but in conclusion, I don’t feel like completely condemning similar things. And besides, Jack Black is a great guy.
