Ah, the album is obviously beautiful, but you somewhat overestimate its historical importance: not that it isn't a pillar of its genre, but it comes a full three years after No Pocky For Kitty, probably the true cornerstone of that immense emotional universe of the 80s, 90s, and 00s. Anyway, it's nice to discuss these things on Debaser, if only we had more!

Hey, dropping the Jawbreaker at your first show is already a big deal. Welcome, and good job filling the gap. Unfortunately, you didn't play your cards very well: the track by track is harmful (to the balls) except for rare exceptions and rare stuff that lends itself to individual track reviews, but that's not the case here; ratings for the songs are fake, and you’re not, I don't think, well, anyway avoid them; skip the stuff like the author's premises, and the various "let's go!" "nice to meet you" "be nice and kind," and maybe don’t get defensive about possible mistakes, someone will point them out anyway. Those things are unreadable, believe me. You made some mistakes but whatever, in a year or two you’ll read your first reviews and wonder what the hell you were thinking - I tell you this from experience. See you next time, take care.

In brackets: aside from the last one, even after SCIENCE the Incubus are truly deserving, at least for me who isn't exactly a nu metal enthusiast. I'm still crazy about A Crow Left To the Murder. Perhaps the only one that for some reason has never sat well with me is Make Yourself.
