Beautiful Quinlan, welcome. I'll listen to this album, even just for its beautiful voice. One Day, heard among the rot of heavy rotation – not that I'm a big radio listener – really stands out. Kind of like the new Bowie (off topic:) which I like a little more with each listen.

You make it seem even interesting, and it probably is, huh? :)

It's not my cup of tea, but excellent thoughts.

I have Dead Man's Party and Farewell; they popped up among Lastfm's recommendations. They didn't blow me away, but maybe, with your authoritative endorsement, I'll give them another chance.

A nice review works wonders: I’m listening to Porcupine Tree. I like them.

I dramatically changed my mind; it seems I hadn't listened to them in a long time.

Hasn't it been reviewed yet?! Damn, good! Ness (and not nes, even if the connection seems obvious) has the voice I've always dreamed of having. Apart from the debut masterpiece, the albums I like the most are the later ones, even a bit more over the top. I believe that Story of My Life is in the top ten of the tracks I've listened to the most in my life so far.
