True, true, I expressed myself poorly. Let’s say that Pirelli had already sensed, since the post-17 Re era, the more commercial setting that the frontman and the guitarist could bring to the band, even at the expense of artistic value. You can already feel the difference in Litfiba3 (because the situation of the band during that period shines through in every Litfiba album, even the crappy 90s records are very authentic from this point of view). After Litfiba3, I think the absolute protagonism of Pelù and Renzulli had become unbearable for Maroccolo. I don’t know whether he distanced himself or if they showed him the door, but it doesn’t matter much. Absolutely thumbs up for Maroccolo, thumbs down for Pelù and Renzulli.

The story of Litfiba: Gianni Maroccolo recorded three monumental albums (this one, 17 Re, and Litfiba3), taking the reins of a group that was clearly heterogeneous in terms of talent, technical skill, and compositional taste. He managed, and we can also see the touch of a skilled producer like Alberto Pirelli in this, to turn heterogeneity into a positive element, building an unmistakable sound based on the best (in the case of Pelù and Renzulli, more than the best) that each band member could offer. After a couple of triumphant tours across Italy, earning acclaim from young rebels and lovers of New Wave sounds, the singer and guitarist decided that the credit was all theirs, and, greatly overestimating their limited artistic flair, they gave the resigned Maroccolo the boot. The end of Litfiba.

"It is a book with seemingly nonsensical and unrelated phrases; in reality, the common thread of the work is the control that the State can exert over individuals (in this book, it compares two imaginary states, Anexia and Terra Libera, with different degrees of control over the human mind) and telepathy as a tool to escape the control and censorship imposed on human minds." Thank you for the note blech :)

The religious title (the Anglican Waters) gives me the chills. This alone is enough to ruin a well-crafted review. Let’s stop forcing Christian morals where they don’t belong; it’s absurd.
