I understand the perplexity over such a brief review. Some poems from Spoon River deserve pages of criticism and analysis, but when it comes to works that are so encyclopedic, it often happens that one goes overboard in the other direction, failing to focus on the importance of the meaning we attribute to them (which is everything in poetry). I tried to write a review that would leave some space for the imagination and curiosity of those unfamiliar with the work, without delving too much into anecdotal Wikipedia-style details.

@stonecoldcrazy: I'm not saying that Litfiba were a one-man band. The fact is that looking at their respective careers after the split (Maroccolo/Pelù-Renzulli) doubts can arise about who was responsible for the (qualitative) success of the early albums. Unless you think that Pelù and Renzulli suddenly lost their minds. Then, if you read the first comment, I don’t deny that they had their own qualities, but the one who kept everything together was clearly Maroccolo.
