the only valid pieces are the ones that last less than a minute

Well my dear Gnagnera, I don't think we can get out of this: I fundamentally disagree with your position but we are on the same side. As for Washington Bullets, based on your reasoning, I prefer White Riot, less thought out but more "experienced." à bientot amigo

Hello and thank you all very much. @Taxirider: read the sentences carefully, these aren’t my opinions, they’re controversies (really absurd) raised by the song. @Gnagnera: no matter how disillusioned and skeptical you might be towards the "kids who believe that throwing a brick is an incredibly revolutionary act" (and you really hit a nerve there, man), you can't help but consider that if everyone actually threw something (a brick, a tripod, a statue from the cathedral, whatever), the act would indeed be revolutionary. As for the Clash signing with CBS, I find it amusing that they were taking money from the very suits they incited to violence against, and anyway, White Riot is one of those tracks to be regarded as having absolute value, considering the Clash for what they were and what they did back then, without too much fuss about consistency over the years.

I read with great pleasure, damn it;)

I listened to something. I like it, it's authentically silly and immature. I agree with Fedee about looking for lines of thought and points of reflection in NOFX's songs, but come on...

Bravo bravo but bravo, I agree on everything and, by the way, I’m one of those who appreciate this version of Tommy much, much more. Maybe you could have highlighted Entwistle's work a bit more (The Rock Bassist, the best without a shadow of a doubt, for centuries and centuries, amen) since he gives the decisive punch to the pieces of Tommy; just listen to what he does on 1921 with that Rickenbacker. Very cool Entwistle, very cool them, very cool you, 5.

I like the way you write very much, well done. As for the artist, I'll refrain from commenting, it's for the best.

I heard it in an interview. I gathered that he invented music and taught piano to Mozart.

Don’t you think it would have been reductive with respect to the overall meaning of the work?
