I wanted to write it, but I couldn’t find the courage. I fell in love with these cosmic funk sounds thanks to Toejam and Earl, which I had as a kid on the Mega Drive, and since then the obsession with groove has never left me. A shoutout to Mothership Connection, Chocolate City, and especially The Clones Of Dr. Funkenstein for those damn deep black bass lines, hours and hours spent trying to imitate them only to realize that groove is not something you learn.
