If you’re referring to "Days of Future Passed" by the Moody Blues (1967), I can see your point; however, what’s certain is that in this album, the classical elements are still predominant over the rock ones! Let’s say that King Crimson were the first to find a sort of perfect balance between classical elements and rock instrumentation! Anyway, we always come back to the discussion that genre classification can be a bit misleading in some cases!

Well, the Skiantos were among the first, if not the very first, to open and codify the paths of demenziale rock. The episode of the famous Spaghetti Performance (https://www.debaser.it/main/Video.aspx?y=jeOcLb7fsLc) is spectacular, although personally they don't do much for me. It's obvious that the Eelst are a step above everyone else... these Gem Boy instead should be paved over instantly, no doubt!... :D
