"(fuck this browser that makes me do this wild copy-paste mess ... GRRR)" and I get it, you use your dear Safari :P I don't see much difference between the Apple world and the Microsoft one (well, obviously there’s no comparison between the two respective operating systems :D) Anyway, there are also people in the world who use the much underrated Open Source, see the GNU-Linux world ;) of course the guy from the book is brilliant, no doubt about it, but he’s full of himself, at least from the last sentences you quoted: "people don't know what they want: I do, just show it to them" !?!?! what the... :D

It’s always a pleasure to read you, great review! I must say that the Swedish progressive scene of the early '90s (aside from Anglagard) is totally unknown to me, alas... this album truly seems interesting! Great suggestion ;)

I renew my 5 for the review and after listening to the album, I give it a nice 3.5 rounded up to 4!! Some tracks are great, but at certain points, there’s a feeling of heaviness (though I’m not sure if this feeling was due to the heavy digestion of the eggplants I had for lunch)!! Riffs that remind me of Pink Floyd but always in an elegant and above all original way... for me, the standout tracks are the opening track and the beautiful "In Your Dreams" :D ps: some atmospheres remind me of the Pendragon album "Pure," which is great as well... :D

Fedezan76, but I'm not debating the "historical" value of the album; I’m aware that from this work the first sprouts of prog-metal emerged!! I'm essentially discussing the artistic value, which, in my opinion, isn't really all that great :D As far as I'm concerned, the story on which the concept is built is completely tangled, complicated, and forced together – that's all there is to it... of course, it's definitely fascinating, but there are other works that are far more deserving of strong criticism!!

Ohi fedezan76, you're right, maybe I overdid it, but saying this is one of the best Italian rock albums is heresy and it made me roll my eyes :D for heaven's sake, everyone has their own tastes, but making objective claims about Negrita is in questionable taste ;) That they are enjoyable, I won't argue; that they are bearable, I won't argue; that they are even better than other pseudo rock bands navigating the Italian mainstream, I won't argue; but saying they are the best, damn if I won't argue!! Some lyrics are horrible as well, but here we delve into completely personal reflections!!

even metal is commercial, that's for sure :D and then there are bands that have been making the same albums for ages now!! take Metallica, Iron Maiden etc... I'm not a metal expert, but from my point of view, to say that this one is one of the best concept albums is pretty much heresy :D
