Comics are already for losers, and then you add some hot chicks, and it all becomes an axiom.

let's do "scEMO" and that's it... still on the "scEMO" theme, I was thinking of writing about a Braid album. just think about how I'm doing :)

I have to say that I'm not particularly familiar with the Mars Volta, and from what little I know, I don't really like them. I watched a video on YouTube where they perform on Rollins' show... I don't know, to me it sounds like they play randomly. Sure, they are talented musicians, but they don't blow me away... I think it's also a cultural thing: they aren't really my cup of tea. I've heard the comparison with Rage many times and I swear I've never understood it... maybe because of the vocals that are already more prominent in "Relationship," but not here... on the contrary, the melodies follow somewhat the pattern of certain "emo" like Cap'n Jazz. Anyway, a few years ago I was really crazy about At the Drive-In... now I've somewhat scaled them down, and they definitely remain a great band that has made some nice albums.

No, I think you didn’t understand anything from my response. Sorel was just an example, not to say that I am a communist and, as such, I am right... on the contrary, if you understood this, maybe you don’t know enough to grasp that Sorel doesn’t preach for good, but only for diversity, for action. As if to say, I don’t care about you and how you think because I think my own way, the rest doesn't matter... whether he is a superman or an overman, it’s up to you. If Albini beats people, it’s none of my business how that person felt about it, I don’t care, and one of his songs (song, not EP) is called Il Duce... so what!?! What does that have to do with it? Look, the word communist placed in my previous post serves only as an example; there’s no need to get heated... communists, fascists, or any other label makes no difference to me. They all disgust me. Haloa

Moustache, the truth is that people like Agnello, people who perhaps at twenty had the TRUE desire to play, today simply have a job. You go to San Remo because it gives you visibility, because you want visibility and because you have Mercedes payments to make. Well, I come from a different school of thought. In music, in art, if you want your art to remain yours and above all genuine, you should never make a living from it. So, you go to San Remo to pick up the least worst defects of the mainstream, to smell the real odor of money, thinking you can brush against the shit without getting dirty because maybe you have a background of apprenticeship. Nonsense: Sorel said that the communist party, to be truly communist, had to stay outside parliament, without coming into contact with the defects of the bourgeoisie that inhabits parliament, and I am convinced that it’s true. I am not against the music market, I am beyond it... I don’t care at all, but I hope that the people involved are considered like caricatures. I’ve seen Albini set up and take down his instruments twice, break a string and replace it himself in front of the audience... and I’m talking about Albini. Who is Agnello, what does he want, what does he want to tell us? Nothing, that is the answer.

Yes, but it’s also true that you’re used to listening to Stadio. You have no say in the matter. Success, as Pasolini said (see the difference!?! You cite primiballi, I cite Pasolini), is the other side of persecution. There are realities in Italy that you can't even imagine, of people who work their asses off and don’t seek success, don’t want it at all. They find it disgusting. Do you know how many seven-inch records are still pressed in Italy? Do you know how many bands release cassette tapes? And you’re still talking about Marta sui Tubi? Who knows. Stop thinking that success is an indicator... success is nothing, and you just have to be a bit in touch with things to know that these people spend heaps of money to please the public. You see, you’ve only mentioned groups that spend to get attention. I couldn’t care less if someone is successful or not... what interests me are the genuine people, not the industrialists. Agnello is an industrialist who relies on his not-so-smart audience... Agnello is a bit like the Maurizio Costanzo of Italian "rock".

Aside from the song by Teatro, the one by Zen Circus, and the one by Zu, the rest is trash. Really a mess, and these aren’t the Italian bands... no, let's be clear. These are the "indie" groups by bad luck, not by choice... if they had the option, they'd end up on major labels, as Agnello shows. Italian bands?!? Where are Afraid!, Hell Demonio, Dead Elephant? If this is Italian music, then it’s time to pierce my eardrums with a pencil.

<< Fiquata, you are the classic type who believes to have the absolute truth and to be a prophet, while instead you are just the usual know-it-all >> I'm sorry. I am completely atheist.
