@highlande: you’ve really messed up. Respect goes to those who deserve it. I would have never questioned your judgment if you had stopped at the first comment. The second one is definitely ignorant, not to mention contradictory to the first. And then you keep insisting on a two for the record and also for the review, which you initially gave a five. Honestly, I don’t know what your issues are, but I don’t care; I’d prefer it if you just left me the hell alone.

@highlande: you've already made your shit move, there's no need to keep climbing. Also because I see that the blood has risen to your head. Relax and listen to this record, because I'm really convinced that you haven't done it.

And as a testament to how close-knit this lineup is, I recommend the DVD "The Magician's Birthday Party," which features not only this lineup but also legendary guests Ken Hensley, John Lawton, and Thijs van Leer. The result is a speTTacolo with a capital T.

@stone: I really know the Heep inside out. Everything, basically. Of course, the best period is the one with Byron. But I'm not one of those stuck-up people who get thrown off by changes. The same thing happened to Sabbath with Dio, and yet it seems ridiculous to say that "Heaven and Hell" isn't a great album. "Firefly" is beautiful and you can't help but like it, that's a safe bet. Believe it or not, I even enjoy the much-maligned "Conquest," which in my opinion is definitely better than the subsequent and acclaimed "Abominog." Then it's true that the eighties continued with modest albums, but this "Sea of Light" marked a great rebirth for the Heep.

@highlande: Melissa Mills had a good eye, yes, and she stopped at that cover. In reality, her problem was hearing. And probably yours too.

@polka: you'll change your mind, just think that I was about to miss out on the five stars...

First of all, I thank all the participants. @rock70: thank you for joining the chorus, your tenor voice was missing. @pier: that of the hard rock Gattuso is a fitting image. @john holmes: thank you. @prog: of course, I was sure you knew him. ;D Saying neo-prog might be a bit much, that's why I referred to "progressive flavors." @teenage: don’t worry, I linked four songs, but the whole album is really great. @nico: my personal recommendations to start are: salisbury, demons & wizards, and firefly. But this album holds its own against any of them. @schizo: um, I guess that album somewhere then would be this one... @jurix: yeah, those were the times when I would pinch my foreskin and launch into the scream of Bird of Prey!

At 12 years old, I found myself in a dark forest, for the straight path had been lost. And I discovered love.

When I was 12, during a trip to Berlin, I said that a wall bothered me, and the following year they knocked it down.
