Great is Fates Warning. From Perfect Symmetry (my favorite) to Disconnected, they have delivered a series of high-quality albums. This one is perhaps a bit less than the others, but for me, it's still a solid 3.5 that I gladly round up.

I liked their suicide of the samurai. I know little else. I listened to this latest work after hearing praises everywhere. From the first listens, it didn't convince me at all. Too much on the table and even burnt. It's a shame, because I think they have the ideas, they just need to organize a bit. Anyway, I won't rate the work, because it's too early. The review, however, is from a declared fan, and therefore always respectable.

@superboia: thanks for the shout-out. There's a musical affinity between us. I also enjoy "Seven Circles," but to be honest, I think the Tea Party has never made a bad album. Personally, I find that "The Edges of Twilight" and "Transmission" are the most personal, as well as the most successful in terms of quality.
