Look, I also can’t quite understand why my hearing apparatus refuses. Maybe because female voices are too clear or linear. I don’t know how to explain it well. But of course, there are exceptions. I like voices like P.J. Harvey, Tori Amos, Joni Mitchell. I don’t mind Ann Wilson from Heart either. I’m not familiar with the others you mentioned.
