nice review, not a very successful album but listenable, cover not worth looking at

@supersoul(did you happen to like point zero?): I think I spoke objectively about the comics that disgust you...

There isn't only Bonelli, however. But since we're talking about her: Nathan Never: the first 60 issues are excellent, then a decline (I bought another 100 before realizing it though :) ). Dampyr, I believe, is the worst-scripted comic compared to those mentioned above (one of the stories always concludes in the penultimate page, leaving a meager page for the conclusion that almost always appears rushed and approximate). Brandon is nice but the first 4 issues promised much more than what followed (Le ali della notte su Titti). Dylan Dog (enough with the nonsense...). Among all these, the old Ken Parker would definitely feel out of place (are we sure KP was Bonelli? I'm not talking about the Megazine). Julia (always by Berardi) wasn't mentioned, which is actually quite nice. Tex? Well, Tex is now an institution that you may like or not, but if we didn't see at least one of his covers in the newsstands, we would probably think we had expatriated without realizing it; "La valle del terrore" is instead a masterpiece of "commercial" comics featuring Aquila della Notte. Sure, it’s not a comic by Pazienza, Pratt, or Tamburini (who mentioned Crepax??? Brrr), it would never have been published in Frigidaire, but it remains, nonetheless, a masterpiece of Italian comics from the last 20 years. (Just for the record, Paz has been dead for 21 years).

"Copied from 'City On Fire' by Ringo Lam! You didn’t know that yet? Before saying something like this, you should watch City On Fire... I’ve seen it... The Hateful Eight draws heavily from the story of this Hong Kong film, but it’s not a copy... Reservoir Dogs develops for the entire film the last 20 minutes of Lam's movie. Without City On Fire, we wouldn't have The Hateful Eight; without The Hateful Eight, we wouldn’t even know about Ringo. Saying that The Hateful Eight copies City On Fire seems reductive to me. 'Good artists copy, great artists steal.' Picasso."

"Ken Parker, on the other hand, doesn’t seem like this masterpiece to me." Good thing you added the "seems to me" :-) De gustibus
