Okay, we don't like Metallica anymore. Fine, we got it, but enough already—it's something a 12-year-old could do to speak ill of Metallica by now.

I know this rant of mine will earn me an endless string of insults, but I'm really fed up with reading reviews about Metallica that say the same four things (they're no longer metal, they're commercial, they make albums just to sell... and for heaven's sake, why don’t you just stop listening to them? It’s not like the doctor is prescribing it to you; by now you should have realized that you won't get a puppet master or a lightning rider out of them anymore!)

@stoney: because he liked Tolkien. because the ebony tears are called that (it's the title of a Sabbath song) if they play melodic death (at least the first album, then I didn't follow them anymore) and not doom? I believe they are tributes. and then, Tolkien didn't need to be paid tribute by an Italian metal band is another matter.
