Well, Berserk is identical to Dragon Ball up to issue 26 (the end of the Hawk Squad); it's a stunning comic. From there on, it gets lost in boring and pointless subplots. I abandoned it at issue 62 years ago; I know that now issue 66 has come out. Four issues in three years, if I remember correctly... Valid Japanese comics for me are those by Nihei, Taniguchi, and Alita by Kishiro (the first series, not Last Order). Gunz seemed nice at first, but then it became just an excuse to show blood and guts; MPD Psycho, on the other hand, has never aimed to show anything else (although in the first or second issue, the guy who grew flowers was a spectacle worthy of Grand Guignol).
