My review might very well suck. Its 2 is fully justified. But disrespect is absolutely out of the question.

Damn, I didn't get this one (<< Yes, a bit more respect for the records, since you, with your Strat, don’t write songs like that >>). I wrote to you about my - perhaps - favorite album with my heart in my hands, and you talk to me about respect? I have even more respect for Zen Arcade because every time I listen to it, I become more convinced that it’s the most beautiful record I have ever heard, and as I flip through its booklet, it feels like I’m flipping through the Bible. I don’t know where the hell you saw a lack of respect. Not a good night, huh?

@j&r, buddy, the review on Townes Van Zandt is nice, but you stuffed it with your usual arrogance. @47, check out the live show in Camden by the Huskers from '85, then we can talk about Norton's bass lines ;) @Azzo, you rightly don’t give a damn about my nonsense (what nonsense anyway? I dedicate those to the blondes, not to Hart and Mould) but the reviewer, in this case me, does care. In fact, they can relate to the same album. As for Zen Arcade, it has nothing to do with this. This is really nice because you can hear it in all the little bands from the '90s, Zen Arcade is great even if you completely attribute its context (that’s what makes it their masterpiece). But that’s just my opinion. The review is teenage because I’m 17. Your 2 is legitimate, but the tone suggests you got a kick in the ass. For you, Powerline is among their top 5 songs; for me, not so much. Bye.

It’s a bit sad that a genuine and sincere storyteller like Townes Van Zandt (perhaps my favorite) ends up in the hands of those fanatics. Anyway, to the Dictionary, I say that if music isn’t magic for you, take up horse racing. Bye ;)

Dictionary, change bar. I'm talking about "rock magic" and here comes the Dictionary. A special shoutout to imasoulman and supersoul who make the site more beautiful unlike the Dictionaries and Encyclopedias of my damn balls.

Sure, constantly only "Pink Turns to Blue" is played. I've never heard a "Pride," an "I'll Never Forget You," or a "Broken Home, Broken Heart" live. I will die unhappy. How will I die unhappy knowing that I can't find a bootleg of theirs where they did covers of "Wild Thing," "I Wanna Be Your Dog," "La Grange," and "Helter Skelter"? Speaking of covers, "Ticket to Ride," with Mould on vocals, is beautiful. Seriously, their bootlegs are impossible to find even online!

J&R, but isn't Van Morrison the singer of the Doors? I didn't know about his solo career ("Astral Weeks"?).

Yes, but who the hell is talking about blues rock? I've always thought that those who want to show off how big they are, deep down, actually are short, very short.
