I tried to listen to it. But it's an album with songs averaging 10 minutes long, and maybe those Swiss have gone a bit overboard. Anyway, listening to it is like a real journey through space. I'll give it another shot.

Yes, but then it shifts to "musical snobbery," when instead it's just about correcting nonsense. A site like DeB should be cross-sectional on this aspect; it shouldn't be used to talk about personal tastes (otherwise, you might as well open a personal blog) nor to criticize others' tastes because those are sacred. In here, we should only discuss everything related to music that isn't actually music. I don't see why if someone corrects a statement like "this VU album has no historical merit" (an objective nonsense, not subjective), if someone contests it, it turns into "de gustibus" and "you're an alternative-chic piece of shit." Get a grip.
